My work has always been a personal exploration and a means of visual communication for issues I feel strongly about. My recent color work was meant to urge the viewer to consider environmental issues and how personal belief systems impact those issues. Though in putting this exhibit together, I began to see patterns of old work intertwined: themes of past and present, life and death, God’s great earth, dreams, fears and anxieties, and the passing of time. For me, this body of work is a connection of a series of questions (some of the same I’ve always had): How do we treat where we are (our natural resources) and who we are in that world? What comes next?

What other connections do you see and feel? Above all else, this exhibit asks the viewer to engage and participate in the conversation.
